We're celebrating 40 years!
Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration founded the Franciscan Spirituality Center four decades ago as a place for spiritual development, offering opportunities for prayer experiences, retreats, spiritual direction, theological studies and open discussion. We’ve grown and evolved over the years to meet changing needs, but our core mission has remained the same: We are dedicated to ALL who seek God, meaning and wholeness.
Whether you’ve journeyed with us from the beginning or just recently discovered our sacred space, you are invited to our 40th Anniversary Celebration on September 22 (more details to come). This date was chosen to coincide with Bishop John Paul’s dedication of the FSC in 1985. We’ll also have several other events related to this milestone throughout the year. Please keep an eye on our program calendar, and join us as you can!
Each Thursday, we are sharing memories and photos from the past 40 years on our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you’d like to submit a written reflection or a photo, please contact FSC marketing coordinator Stacey Kalas at skalas@fspa.org. We’d love to hear from you!
You are also invited to help us make a community quilt! Stop by our registration desk to pick up a blank quilt square. You can embellish or decorate it any way you like and return it to us by June 1. Sharon Berger, FSPA, will combine all of the squares to make a beautiful quilt that will be unveiled at the September event.
We have so much to celebrate! We are grateful to you for your prayers and support, and look forward to serving you for many more decades to come.

1. The frame is the sewing line. Please stay within it.
2. Use whatever medium works for you. The FSC art room has lots of supplies, including fabric markers.
3. Three-dimensional accents are welcome as long as they allow for sewing.
4. Sign your name.
5. Have fun, and be creative. Ask if you have any questions or need assistance.
6. Invite others to decorate a square.
